Why not just add refrigerant and see if it helps?

Low refrigerant is a symptom, not a cause. If it is low there is usually a leak. We find the leak first so you are not paying to recharge a system that empties again in a week.

Do you service both R-134a and R-1234yf systems?

Yes, both. R-1234yf is the refrigerant on most vehicles built from about 2015 on, and it takes its own recovery and recharge equipment, which is why some shops cannot take those cars. We are set up for it and we are MACS refrigerant certified, so we can diagnose and service a late-model system here rather than sending you somewhere else.

Can you recharge with dye to find a leak?

Yes, on both R-134a and R-1234yf systems. Dye lets us confirm where a slow leak is actually coming from instead of guessing at it. New parts and labor are covered by our 36 month / 36,000 mile warranty.

What does an AC diagnosis cost?

A heat and air inspection is $99. If the system needs deeper diagnostic work, evaluations start at $170. You get the number before we start, and you see the readings before you approve any repair.
